Bishop Clement Chinakwe Nwani & Rev. Evelyn Nsisong-Nwani

Abundant Life Miracle Christian Center, Los Angeles, CA

Origin

Bishop Clement Chinakwe Nwani was born to the family of Papa and Mama O. Nwani on the 26th July 1946, in Obior, Anioma Local Govt. area Delta State-Nigeria, while Rev. Evelyn Nsisong-Nwani was born on the 11th October, 1950, to Papa Joshua Emmanuel of Ikot-Ekpene-Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. The Couple first met each other as teenagers at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Nigeria (FGCN).

Bishop Clement Chinakwe Nwani and Rev. Evelyn Nsisong-Nwani were both born again in 1966 through the dynamic ministry of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Lagos, Nigeria.
The dynamic ministry of the Foursquare Church exposed the couple to ministerial training, and the couple got married on 11th August, 1973.

Ministry Life and Assignments

The couple first migrated to Paris-France in 1974, where they served in ministry under
‘Pastor Earnest’ of the (Eglise De Pentecost Primitive), while studying the French Language, and raising their first two children. The couple then left France, returned to Nigeria, continued and completed their theological training in Nigeria–and graduated in 1980 from Life Theological Seminary, Lagos.

Bishop Nwani and Rev. Evelyn Nwani were both unanimously nominated during the 1980 FGCN Annual Convention and were commissioned into full time ministry by the late Dr. Samuel O. Odunaike. Bishop Nwani (then Rev. Nwani), was ordained and appointed as Regional Overseer of the FGCN churches in the Eastern states of Nigeria. Rev. Evelyn Nwani was appointed the Resident Pastor at the FGCN location in Onitsha, Anambra State. They both served in these capacities from 1980 to 1990 as ordained ministers following their meritorious and quality services. During their tenure, they raised and mentored many spiritual sons and daughters and sent them forth to plant new churches.

After their extensive missionary work in eastern Nigeria, God's servants received a divine instruction to embark on a journey to the United States of America in 1991, to begin a new phase of their ministry. When they arrived in Los Angeles, the Nwanis and their four sons (Ebenezer, Victor, Emmanuel, and Christopher, aka “the Nwani Brothers”) practiced itinerant missionary ministrations and became a great blessing to many congregations and ministers such as the Oasis Christian Center (led by Pastor Philip & Holly Wagner) from 1994-1998, Bishop and Mrs. Sherriff from 1999-2002, and Southside Christian Palace Church, from 2002 to present; (Founded by the late Arch-Bishop W.R. Portee) and now Pastored by Dr. D.L. Portee.

Seven years after their itinerant ministrations in Los Angeles, Bishop and Rev. Nwani stepped out in faith with their children, on the 2nd of August 1998, to co-found the Abundant Life Miracle Christian Center (ALMCC). The grace of God has been upon their pioneering work as evidenced by the achievements of their ministry. The couple have always been acknowledged and recognized for meritorious service and commitment to the work of God, and particularly known for respecting and bringing believers together to encourage building the body of Christ for the work of the ministry, and reaching the lost; It was for such reasons that the following recognitions were attained by the couple:
